Editor’s note, September 2026: This article was originally published in 2023 when we introduced Meritto as the new identity for our enrollment technology. Since then, NoPaperForms has evolved into a broader technology platform for education, with Meritto as its flagship enrollment product. We have updated this article to reflect that evolution while preserving the original story behind the Meritto brand.
Meritto is a product of NoPaperForms Solutions Limited. In 2023, we introduced the Meritto brand to give the enrollment technology we had been building since 2017 a distinct identity of its own. NoPaperForms continued as the company behind the platform and today brings together Meritto, Collexo and Mio AI across enrollment, payments and intelligence for education.

Today marks another important chapter in a journey that began with a very simple idea. Over the years, we have evolved significantly, both in what we build and in the problems we solve for educational organizations. You might be wondering what Meritto represents today, how it relates to NoPaperForms, and why we felt the need to create a new identity in the first place. The answer goes back to where we started.
Let’s start from the begining
In 2017, we began with a simple question: why should the admission process be so full of paperwork and so difficult for students, parents, and educational organizations? That question gave birth to NoPaperForms, an application automation platform built to simplify and digitize admissions.
But as we worked more closely with educational organizations, the problem became much larger than forms. Institutions were managing enquiries across channels, student engagement across teams, applications across systems, and admissions through a mix of technology, spreadsheets, and manual processes. The student journey was fragmented, and so was the context available to the teams managing it.
Year after year, we expanded the depth and breadth of our product to solve more of that journey. What began with application automation grew into a much broader platform covering student acquisition, engagement, marketing automation, application management, admissions workflows, and enrollment intelligence. We were no longer solving for a single point in the process. We were building technology around the entire enquiry-to-enrollment journey.
That was also the moment when we realised something important. The name NoPaperForms described where we had started remarkably well, but it no longer described what the product had become.
Why we created Meritto
By 2023, our enrollment technology had evolved substantially from where it started. Our ambition had expanded with the problems we were solving, and we needed an identity that reflected that ambition.
We wanted a name that was rooted in education but not restricted by a particular workflow. A name that represented accomplishment, transformation, and trust. A name that could carry the identity of a platform built specifically for educational organizations and grow with us as we expanded beyond the problems we had originally set out to solve.
That is how we arrived at Meritto.

Meritto was introduced as the dedicated brand for the enrollment technology built by NoPaperForms.
The Birth of Meritto
Our quest was to find a name that reflected the impact we wanted to create in education and the purpose behind the technology we were building. Through that process, one idea kept coming back to us: merit.
For us, merit represented more than excellence. It represented accomplishment, progress, and the ability to help educational organizations achieve more. We saw ourselves as enablers, giving institutions the tools they needed to turn potential into outcomes and fragmented processes into connected journeys.
But merit alone did not capture the full story.
Transformation had always been central to how we thought about our role. Transformation from manual processes to connected systems, from fragmented teams to shared context, and from untapped potential to measurable achievement. That is where the second part of the name came from. Merit and transformation came together to create Meritto.
The name gave our enrollment technology an identity that was much closer to what it had become.
The Visual Identity
In a world where connections and collaborations are the key to success, Meritto has chosen a logo that truly embodies this philosophy. Here’s a simple explanation of the design philosophy and how the logo represents it.
At the heart of the Meritto logo is the belief that “two halves make a whole”. This fundamental principle of balance and partnership is represented in the form of two semicircles, facing in opposite directions. Each semicircle can be seen as an equal partner, like two individuals, two teams, or even two aspects of an educational organization. When they come together, they form a perfect circle, symbolizing completion and wholeness.
But there’s another crucial element in our logo – a small dot we like to call a ‘nudge’. This ‘nudge’ is a catalyst, something that helps bring the two halves together. Just like in real life, where a spark of an idea, a shared goal, or an inspiring leader can bring individuals or teams together to achieve great things.

That’s the beauty of our logo. It doesn’t just represent Meritto; it mirrors the power of collaboration, the balance of complementary forces, and the potential that’s unleashed when these elements come together. And that’s what we strive to do at Meritto – to act as that catalyst that enables educational organizations to unite their teams, streamline their processes, and maximize the use of technology, ultimately achieving their goals and realizing their full potential.
What Meritto represents today
Since the rebrand, Meritto has continued to evolve. Today, it is our Operating System for Student Enrollments, purpose-built for educational organizations and designed to manage the journey from the first student enquiry through enrollment.
At its core is the Enrollment Cloud, bringing together capabilities across student acquisition, Education CRM, engagement, application management, marketing automation, admissions workflows, and enrollment intelligence. The underlying idea remains the same as it was when we first began broadening the product: institutions should not have to manage one student journey through a collection of disconnected systems.
The stronger the context around that journey, the better institutions can understand, engage, and enroll students.
And where does NoPaperForms fit today?
Our own evolution did not stop with Meritto.
As we moved deeper into education, we began solving adjacent problems beyond enrollment. That led to Collexo, our payments platform for education, and later to Mio AI, the intelligence layer across our platform.
This is why the relationship between the brands is clearer today than it was when Meritto was introduced in 2023. NoPaperForms Solutions Limited is the company behind Meritto, Collexo, and Mio AI. Meritto is the dedicated identity for our enrollment platform, while NoPaperForms represents the broader company and technology platform we are building for education.
The Journey Ahead with Meritto
When we introduced Meritto, we said that the change was about much more than a rebranding exercise. That continues to be true.
NoPaperForms began by digitizing an admission process. Meritto grew from that foundation into a platform built around the larger student enrollment journey. Collexo extended our technology into payments, and Mio AI is bringing intelligence across the growing context created by those systems.
The names have evolved because the ambition has evolved.
What started with removing paper from a process has become a much larger effort to build connected, intelligent technology purpose-built for education.
Meritto remains at the heart of that journey.
